Each Ocean Bottle is meticulously crafted from 90% recycled stainless steel and other recyclable materials, ensuring durability and sustainability. With every Ocean Bottle purchased, 11.4kg of plastic waste is collected from ocean-bound sources. This amount is roughly equivalent to 1,000 plastic bottles. Our collaboration with Ocean Bottle has already resulted in the collection of 3,420kg of plastic, which equals 300,000 plastic bottles that would have otherwise polluted our oceans​

The Collection Process

The plastic collection process involves working with three plastic collection partners across the globe, particularly in regions heavily affected by plastic pollution. The focus is on collecting plastic waste from waterways and rivers before it reaches the ocean. This method is more efficient than retrieving plastic once it’s in the ocean or has washed up on beaches. The collected plastic is then either mechanically recycled or co-processed for energy production, ensuring minimal waste and maximum utility​
